To all of our participants over the years,
We would like to thank you for more than your outstanding participation and your kind praise. Many thoughtful critiques
and suggestions have been offered. And we listened. Our training continues to benefit from each of your voices.

Here are a few of their comments:

The training I have received at the Milton H. Erickson Institute of Dallas has been wonderful. It has been informative,
knowledgeable, creative, an adventure. I now have solid skills in hypnosis that I am using everyday in my therapy
sessions at the VA with veterans, for a variety of diagnoses. I highly recommend the workshops for anyone looking to add
valuable skills to their knowledge base.

It’s giving me so much more to add than I thought I would find. I love the respect & the wise admonition to respect the
process & take it slowly.

There are many Hypnosis trainings offered. I was a bit confused as to which one would be the most beneficial and
credible. Choosing the training at the Erickson Institute of Dallas turned out to be a very wise decision. The training
exceeded my expectations in all areas. I came to realize that Milton Erickson brought integrity and professionalism to the
field of psychology and the use of hypnosis. It is an honor being trained, in part, by his daughter, Betty Alice Erickson.
Deborah Beckman and Will Handy, the two main trainers, are extremely knowledgeable, talented and at times very funny.
They work in tandem with a cohesiveness that is very effective. I highly recommend this training for any mental health
professional looking to enhance their practice through the use of hypnosis.

I learned things I didn’t expect to learn, and I learned more than I expected to learn. I learned new things about myself,
about trance, and about a wide range of ways that trance can be useful for me and in clinical practice. All three
presenters/teachers were excellent, I also enjoyed the differences between each of you, so that I learned unique lessons
from each. The overall group cohesiveness, including the students and all three teachers, was a joy.

The course is skilfully put together and Will, Deborah and Betty Alice are insightful trainers who give deeply and
generously. They are constructively observant, pointing out strengths and weaknesses in a way that encourages
students to dare to grow in a professional, yet nurturing environment. Groups are structured in a way that fosters practice
and well layered development of proficiency. We are encouraged to extend our capabilities within our group. I walked
away after the first level feeling like my whole world had shifted, expanded, offering a deeper insight into not only my own
capabilities and potential but into those of my clients. I also noticed immediately that I began observing more acutely,
watching the entire body for clues, listening to every sentence my clients spoke to hear what was or wasn't being said.

Deborah, Will and Betty Alice all went into great detail explaining the objectives, and the demonstrations were wonderful.
The workshop is great! I truly enjoyed practicing with students after the demonstrations. The materials are excellent!
The verbally presented material earns an A++! Thank you for allowing us to ask questions, and your motivation. Thank
you for your feedback.

The professional yet warm and welcoming atmosphere provides an excellent environment for learning. These are
experienced as well as interesting clinicians who also provide for lots of dialogue - questions -ideas - hands-on practice. I
highly recommend the Erickson Institute of Dallas. Hope I can participate again soon.

The binder (including subject tabs) is very thorough, professional and thoughtful! Thank you for the excellent material.
Betty Alice was such an incredible treat and brought such enlightenment to the class through a tapestry of stories and
through demonstration of trance. I was in trance the entire time Betty Alice was in class and the day flowed beautifully!

The Level I training was a uniquely educational, satisfying and edifying experience. I came into the training with one view
of doing therapy, and left with a broader and more interesting view of it. Each day I looked forward to experiencing trance
during the workshop, after we had done so on the first day. I appreciate your level of knowledge, your preparation, your
attitudes, and your commitment to our becoming better therapists and better people. As far as I'm concerned, if this
doesn't also make me a better person, what the hell's the use of being a "better" therapist? In fact we can't [become]
better therapists if we're not also becoming better people. Good, good work!!

The workshop was simply tremendous. Humor, sense of acceptance, how Will and Deborah complement each other so
well, I felt blessed to be here. Also liked how adaptive workshop was.

Enjoyed the format. Good mix of info, demo and practice. Loved having 3 presenters, different perspectives and styles.
Honor to meet and experience Betty Alice. Your commitment and passion for this work are inspiring.
